The Treasury team oversees all facets of treasury risk management, including funding, liquidity oversight, cash flow forecasting, liquidity stress testing, and the management of foreign exchange and interest rate risks.

The Treasury Project Manager/Business Analyst plays a key role in advancing both tactical and strategic automation initiatives. This includes leveraging internal and third-party technologies, gathering and coordinating business requirements, producing detailed business requirement documents, and developing tactical solutions to enhance analytical and operational capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the execution of treasury transformation initiatives outlined in the strategic roadmap, including prioritization, resource coordination across Treasury, Finance, and Technology teams, and managing relationships with external technology vendors.
  • Contribute to front-to-back reviews of daily business-as-usual (BAU) activities, identifying key risks and evaluating existing controls.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams-Treasury, Finance, Operations, Risk, Technology, and Front Office-to define, scope, and implement technology solutions, process enhancements, and control improvements.
  • Develop, streamline, and code tactical tools to support analytical and reporting requirements.
  • Support the Treasury Business Manager in shaping and delivering short-, medium-, and long-term strategic goals.
  • Assist in drafting new procedures and maintaining up-to-date documentation of existing processes.
  • Ensure adherence to the company’s authorization framework and compliance standards.
  • Operate within the company’s operational risk framework, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and internal requirements.
  • Act as a role model by upholding the highest standards of integrity and conduct, consistently reflecting the company’s core values.
  • Maintain full compliance with the FCA’s Code of Conduct at all times.

Skills and Experience:

  • Skilled in banking operations, including account maintenance, onboarding/offboarding processes, and SWIFT messaging systems.
  • Proven experience in leading transformation initiatives, implementing new systems, and enhancing workflows through process re-engineering.
  • Strong background in data analysis, manipulation, and reporting, with proficiency in tools and languages such as VBA, Python, SQL, Alteryx, and Power BI.
  • Analytically driven and solutions-oriented, with a proactive mindset and a track record of successfully delivering initiatives.
  • Highly self-motivated, confident, and resilient, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication and coordination skills, with experience engaging and presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Over two years of post-graduate professional experience within the financial services sector.

Desired:

  • Proficient in Power BI and other business intelligence tools such as Tableau, with strong skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Fully or partially qualified in professional certifications including ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CFA, ACT, or CAIA.
  • Holds qualifications in Project Management, Change Management, or Business Process Mapping.
