Brewer Morris Middle East are partnering with a global MNC to appoint a Treasury Manager, Markets & Risk Advisory. The responsible for the execution and control of the Risk Advisory and In-House Trading activities for the Middle East region including the execution of these activities on behalf the Operating Companies and Strategic Companies. The post holder creates, analyses and concepts pertaining to the financial IT solution architecture and drives innovative digitalization projects for the Middle East and the Treasury organization worldwide. In addition, The role also supports the VP Markets & Risk Advisory in the execution being the most senior professional for risk advisory in the region.

The Role

  • Ensures governance, execution and control of core Treasury activities in an efficient way.
  • Acts as senior advisor to the management of Operating Companies and where applicable also for Strategic Companies in all financial governance and financial related risk related issues.
  • Developing and leveraging relationships within and across teams and/or organizational units to achieve results.
  • Using own understanding of key market drivers to expand into new markets.
  • Establishing and committing to a long-term business direction, gathering & analysing qualitative & quantitative data.
  • Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibilities or environment & adjusting effectively to change.
  • Understands business goals, objectives and needs of the business solution environment.
  • Develops the architectural software design application-related IT solutions and its individual components, balances alternatives.
  • Validates the IT solution architecture against business requirements and assumptions, and prioritizes them.
  • Coordinates relevant unit and integration tests, and documents new IT Solutions Architectures, and maintains existing.

  • Analyses performance gaps of existing software environments and proposes measures to address efficiency problems.

The Person

  • Bachelor's Degree and/or MBA from a leading University preferably in combination with Bloomberg and/ or Reuters Terminal Certification(s); and ideally Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification
  • 3-5 years working experience in similar functions within Financial markets ideally from Middle East region
  • Solid work experience with ERP Systems such as SAP, Exact, Oracle, or similar
  • Very good experience of Treasury Management Systems such as Wallstreet, 360T, cenTRE, finavigate, or similar
  • Expert level of Financial Trading & Portfolio Management Platforms - MUREX, 360T, Bloomberg FX All, TR COBRA, or similar
  • Expert level in Bank knowledge rounded by a high IT affinity
  • Excellent communication skills combined with very good reporting capabilities
  • Multiple language skills would be highly desirable
  • Team work mindset, quality orientation and target focus
