Key Accountabilities / Main Duties:

  • Manage the creation of financial instruments, including bank guarantees and bonds, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations and KYC requirements for global project execution.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to senior management on Treasury strategies, risk management, and capital allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with authorization rules for Treasury transactions, verifying adherence to established guidelines and policies.
  • Monitor exposure limits, manage risk, and report any breaches promptly.
  • Evaluate and manage counterparties, assessing creditworthiness to minimize risk.
  • Maintain and manage bank accounts and dealing mandates, ensuring authorized personnel have the necessary access and permissions.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline Treasury operations and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • A graduate, ideally with an ACT certificate in Treasury Fundamentals.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Treasury experience, including transactional banking, cash management, liquidity, forex, and interest rate risk management within a large, international organization. Solid understanding of UK and European banking regulations.
  • Emphasis on Trade Finance, including issuing Letters of Credit, bank guarantees, Surety Bonds, and Treasury Controls.
  • Focused on delivery, able to work accurately under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient in Excel (Lookups, PivotTables, etc.).
  • Knowledge of TMS systems preferred; SAP knowledge beneficial.
