Treasury Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily cash activities, payments, receipts, and trades, ensuring accuracy and recommending necessary actions.
- Supervise the company’s short-term deposit and investment portfolio under the Head of Treasury’s guidance.
- Optimize bank balance management to enhance investment opportunities.
- Lead cash flow forecasting processes, staying informed about significant financial transactions.
- Act as a Junior Dealer for deposits, investments, FX, swaps, and related payments.
- Maintain foreign exchange exposure forecasts and cover/hedge positions.
- Continuously improve systems, processes, and procedures.
- Provide treasury reporting, analysis, and commentary to the finance team and Executive Management.
- Assist other finance team members and cover for colleagues in their absence.
- Reconcile interest income and maintain bank account information.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance treasury and finance knowledge within the organization.
- Support various projects and tasks as needed.
Skills Profile: Relevant Experience & Education:
- University graduate with ACT qualification or studying towards a treasury qualification.
- Previous experience in treasury operations, particularly in cash and liquidity management.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and detail-oriented skills.
- Proficiency in working with and improving systems.
- Familiarity with treasury management systems, preferably Kyriba.
- Excellent communication skills for internal and external interactions with banks and system providers.
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in other MS Office products.
