Treasury Cash Analyst – Global FMCG
£55,000 to £65,000 per annum
London – Hybrid
Are you a sharp, proactive Treasury Analyst looking to step into a high‑impact role within a major global organisation?
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading multinational in the FMCG sector, supporting group wide liquidity, cash management, and short‑term investment strategy at scale.
This role sits within a high performing Group Treasury function, working closely with senior stakeholders across international divisions to enhance cash visibility, optimise liquidity, and support strategic decision‑making.
The Role
You will be responsible for the efficient and accurate execution of daily cash management, including:
- Managing multi-currency in-house banking processes
- Positioning global cash balances to optimise yield
- Proposing and executing MMF and term deposit investments
- Acting as the key contact for Back Office queries
- Delivering daily liquidity reporting
You’ll also support:
- The development of a dynamic investment strategy
- Centralisation of global cash pools
- Ongoing mandate governance
- Ad‑hoc execution of FX and commodity trades under guidance
The business is rolling out a new TMS, and you will play an active part in:
- System configuration and hierarchy setup
- UAT – including script design, execution and issue resolution
- Post‑implementation improvements around automation, reporting and analytics
In addition, the role provides exposure to group-wide initiatives, including:
- Cash pool restructuring across the UK & Europe
- Country banking reviews
- Treasury process optimisation, automation and efficiency projects
- Broader support across funding and risk management activities
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in cash analysis, liquidity management or financial forecasting
- A strong analytical mindset with genuine curiosity about cashflow drivers
- Ability to work independently, prioritise effectively and communicate clearly
- Strong Excel capability (formulas, pivots, analysis-ready modelling)
- Experience with a Treasury Management System, or strong systems aptitude
- Exposure to MMFs, term deposits, FX or banking products
- Experience with analytics tools (Power BI, macros etc.)
- Prior involvement in TMS implementation or enhancement
- Working toward a professional qualification (ACT/AMCT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or similar)
