Treasury Accounting Manager
Overview:
I am seeking a skilled Financial Operations Manager for a key role within this organisations organization’s Treasury division. The successful candidate will lead the Treasury Back Office team, overseeing vital functions such as transaction authorizations, treasury accounting, and SOX compliance. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional looking to contribute to a dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure robust design of Kyriba treasury management processes to manage risk
- Supervise payment authorization adherence to policies and SOX controls
- Review reports for SOX compliance and treasury policy alignment
- Verify accurate setup of payees in Kyriba
- Authorize and document treasury system deals, reversals, and cancellations
- Oversee access reviews and lender compliance certificates
- Manage monthly currency swap valuations using Bloomberg
- Prepare quarterly reporting schedules and reconciliations
- Assist in treasury-related disclosures for financial statements
- Monitor FX variances and explain discrepancies
- Oversee Group exchange rate reporting, adhering to SOX controls
- Input and authorize accurate manual accounting entries
- Address queries from other departments, promoting efficient processes
- Provide cover for global Treasury Accountant including system integration, reconciliations, and queries
Other:
- Maintain SOX documentation and liaise with auditors
- Prepare accounting papers and contribute to projects
- Drive process enhancements within the Back Office
- Monitor regulatory changes impacting Treasury operations
- Cover for Treasury Assistant, including bank reconciliations and reporting
Experience & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in treasury transactions and instruments
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Prior experience in a large global company desired
- Familiarity with Kyriba, Bloomberg, and online banking systems
- AAT accounting qualification required, ACT qualification preferred
Education:
- Minimum AAT accounting qualification
- Equivalent to A-level education
