Role Overview:
Joining our Private Client team, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive tax compliance and advisory services to our valued private clients. Your focus will extend to entrepreneurial individuals and businesses in the private equity and alternative funds sector. While prior knowledge of these industries is not mandatory, a familiarity with trusts will be beneficial in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Offer holistic tax advice to private clients, emphasising entrepreneurial individuals and businesses in the private equity and alternative funds space.
- Lead complex compliance work, advisory projects, and drive new business development initiatives.
- Assist in delivering technical training and knowledge sharing for the wider practice, contributing to the professional growth of the team.
- Collaborate with Directors/Partners in the group’s management, opening opportunities for career advancement.

Candidate prerequisites:
- The ability to provide clear, concise, and practical tax advice.
- Strong technical proficiency in private client tax, particularly advising entrepreneurial individuals and their personal/family structures on their overall tax position. Experience in providing trust, estate, and charity advice to high net worth individuals would be advantageous.
- The ability to maintain an in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of taxation.
- A keen interest in developing specialist knowledge in the taxation of private equity executives and a general ability and desire to deal with complex tax issues.
- Experience in senior stakeholder management and project and team management.
- Demonstrable success in managing a substantial client portfolio, delivering compliance services, and providing strategic advice.
- An inquisitive nature, capable of identifying opportunities to enhance our client offering.
- CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent professional qualifications.
