Tax transformation project requires a Tax Transformation Consultant, who will have operated as a previous Head of Tax and is very comfortable in strategy development and change management.

I am delighted to be working with a company who are embarking on a tax transformation project to redefine how tax is managed and perceived across their operations. This is not just about compliance-it is about elevating tax as a strategic enabler of commercial success.

The project requires leading on the review, design, and implementation of a commercially focused tax operating model that supports efficient, optimised tax outcomes across all jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities will involve:

  • Assess and redesign the Group’s tax operating model to align with strategic business goals.
  • Lead tax optimisation initiatives.
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities and propose actionable improvements.
  • Simplify and enhance European tax support processes to better serve core business activities.
  • Oversee strategic tax planning for ventures, acquisitions, transformations, and restructurings.
  • Review and refine global tax policies, including transfer pricing, to ensure efficiency and compliance.
  • Evaluate and restructure the tax team to ensure optimal resourcing and capability.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record in transforming tax operating models within complex, multi-country organisations and will be commercially and operationally minded. It is required to have strong leadership skills and experience navigating matrixed environments.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of tax within a global business, where you will be at the forefront of strategic transformation and have the chance to make a lasting impact.
