I’m partnered on a new Tax Supervisor role with a stable and tenured global leader in the manufacturing industry. Focused on developing breakthrough innovations that transform multiple industries, backed by deep manufacturing, engineering, and scientific expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead U.S. indirect tax compliance ensuring accurate and timely filings and payments
  • Manage state and local tax rate compliance and taxability analysis across multiple jurisdictions
  • Oversee tax system configuration and accruals, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Partner cross-functionally with finance, business units, customer care, and external advisors to resolve tax issues and support initiatives
  • Lead and support tax audits, legal entity compliance reviews, and business transformation projects
  • Drive process improvements and support optimization of tax positions within regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams on taxability, exemptions, disputes, refunds, and system updates

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience (or equivalent combined education and experience) with a focus on indirect tax
  • Experience with tax engines and systems (e.g., Vertex, OneSource, TaxWare, SAP)
  • Strong background in sales, use, and property tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Proven ability to lead projects, manage priorities, and drive change
  • Advanced analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
  • CPA and public accounting experience a plus
