The Tax Reporting Manager will be responsible for all tax compliance, quarterly tax provision and tax audits of the US federal consolidated group, US and Canada tax entities (incl. branches and joint ventures). The Tax Reporting Manager works closely with the global Tax Reporting Director to optimize the US and global direct tax processes, which include the implementation of the new tax provisioning tool (OneStream). In addition, the Tax Reporting Manager will oversee all tax affairs related to the Company US domestic business, including Canada and Puerto Rico, as well as the tax affairs of Company’s US’ foreign operations.

This role reports into the Tax Reporting Director.

The Tax Reporting Manager will work in close cooperation with the global and US Finance, Legal, Treasury and Tax departments. The role is focused on managing the timely and accurate filing and reporting of the tax positions, improving tax processes, and supporting the Global Business Areas and other departments on tax matters. More specifically the tasks and responsibilities will include:

· Responsible for US federal consolidated group.

· Lead the full cycle of federal, international, state, and local tax returns/compliance process owner as planner and reviewer of returns, extensions, and quarterly estimated payments. This comprises coordination with corporate finance group, treasury, other office locations, outside business contacts (such as JV partners), and outside 3rd party service providers.

· Reviewer of quarterly income tax provisions under IAS 12 (IFRS) based tax reporting and accounting, including analysis of uncertain tax positions, deferred tax positions, return-to-provision adjustments, etc. for Company US and Canada. Including the coordination of information with corporate finance group, global team, outside consultants, and auditors.

· Responsible for determining any US tax exposures and maintaining reserve files and setting up/maintaining tax position papers.

· Be the go-to person for the Company US and Canada business, provides pro­active support and consulting on tax matters such as tax planning, due diligences, state, and local issues.

· Quarterly review of tax positions of the America group entities and liaise with and/or support the local finance directors on tax reporting matters.

· Optimize use of tax systems by designing standardized tax processes and improved tax automation and reporting workpapers for into income tax software for Federal and State tax compliance.

· Drive risk minimization by monitoring and tracking federal, state, and local notices and audits.

· Research, analyze, and document company income and non-income tax positions.

· Responsible for monthly and quarterly cash tax payments and provide treasury projections for budget, actual and plan.

· Responsible for the correct execution and communication of the quarterly US Group TSA and TSA true ups process.

· In conjunction with the Transfer Pricing team, provide support to ensure the timely filing of the US annual report.

· Responsible for training of and providing guidance to direct report (senior tax accountant).

The candidate should have:

· Expert knowledge of IAS12 (IFRS standard for accounting for income taxes) or its equivalent ASC740 (USGAAP standard for accounting for income taxes)

· Strong analytical skills

· An ability to work methodically to ensure deadlines are met and attention to details

· Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels of the organization

· The ability to adapt to changing conditions.
