Our client is a globally recognised media brand searching for a Tax Reporting and Compliance Manager to join their tax team in London.

You will join an established team of 4 people, along with other tax divisions and have the support of your advisors. The two Vice Presidents with whom you will work closely are highly revered in the tax world and will be integral to your career development.

Responsibilities:

  • Support with US GAAP quarterly and annual reporting.
  • Review of UK and EMEA quarterly ETR calculations and annual tax provision calculations.
  • Work closely with the advisors to ensure the UK and EMEA tax compliance deadlines are met.
  • Reviewing the UK and EMEA tax compliance returns and responding to audit queries.
  • Take ownership of the provisions to returns process for the EMEA tax compliance cycle process.
  • Liaise with the US tax team to ensure efficient collaboration across jurisdictions.
  • Ensure there is consistency and efficiency across all accounting software platforms and support the eventual migration to SAP 4 Hana.

To be considered, you need to be ACA or ACCA qualified with tax accounting and tax compliance experience. US GAAP reporting experience is advantageous but candidates with strong IFRS experience will also be considered. Characteristically, you should have attention to detail, be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business, and able to collaborate with your team.

In return, you will receive a salary of £80,000-£90,000 depending on experience, plus 10 % bonus and a host of benefits. The official hybrid working policy is 3 days in the office, but the team prides itself on working more flexibly so 1-2 days in the office is the standard.
