How you will contribute to what we do:

  • Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual ASC 740 accounting and projections.
  • Manage budgeting the financial statement impacts of accounting for income taxes.
  • Record or review monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting for corporate intercompany contracts and agreements ensuring presentation is correct when rolled up into the consolidated financial statements and on a separate company basis for tax reporting purposes.
  • Manage ASC 740 modeling of transactions and tax credit scenarios.
  • Communicate with audit firm and other consultants in performing responsibilities.
  • Oversee the timely preparation or primary review of the Company’s international, federal, and state income tax returns and estimated tax payments.
  • Complete tax research regarding federal, state, and local law changes, foreign reporting and accounting tax matters, and credit and incentives
  • Evaluate the effects of sales, purchases, joint venture arrangements, etc. and perform related projection calculations of income, fixed asset implications, etc.
  • Ensure efficient implementation of new accounting guidance, tax law and/or IRS guidelines and regulations specifically relating to corporate income tax.
  • Analyze and understand the existing processes to identify elements that can be streamlined or automated.
  • Utilize various accounting platforms for the routine reporting purposes as well as ad hoc reporting to increase efficiency.

About You:

  • You have a master’s degree in taxation and six (6) years of public accounting experience with four (4) years of experience dealing with ASC 740 matters. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Certifiied Public Accounting licensure is preferred.
  • You possess an understanding of accounting standards and procedures (i.e. tax law and regulations, GAAP)
  • You demonstrate knowledge of taxation by following federal, state, and international laws.
  • You can identify, gather, interpret, and communicate complex tax information and other data.
  • You possess strong analytical skills.
  • Your strong written and verbal communication skills are a strength.
  • You are detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • You demonstrate an ability to function well in a team setting and interact with professionals at all levels.
