Our client is a multi-national company in the manufacturing industry and they are looking for a Tax Director to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Tax Planning, Compliance, and Provision:
  • Lead the department efforts in the preparation of income tax filings and provisions.
  • Develop tax return calendar and coordinate inputs.
  • Review tax returns and projections.
  • Monitor tax law changes and strategize accordingly.
  • Handle comprehensive property tax processes.
  • Maintain control procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely filings.
  • Manage IRS audits and responses.
  • File sales and use tax returns.
  • Administer exemption certificates and transition property tax responsibility.
• Financial Analysis and Reporting:
  • Support internal audits and tax projects.
  • Liaise with Group Tax team for updates and support.
• Process Improvement and Control:
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Maintain sales and use tax matrix and communications.

Requirements

• 10+ years of applicable experience in Federal Income Tax
• BS or MS in Accounting, Finance, or Tax
• CPA preferred
