The ideal candidate will have practical experience with tax disputes (tax controversy , disputes, litigation, audits, and appeals), as well as experience with federal income and estate/gift tax issues.

The ideal candidate will have law firm, accounting firm, IRS, Tax Court, and/or Department of Justice (Tax Division) tax controversy experience. A degree in accounting, CPA license, or LL.M. in Tax is strongly preferred, but not required. Candidate must have excellent academic and employment credentials. Candidate has a demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form with strong attention to detail. Successful candidate has ability to work independently and efficiently, as well as within a team environment involving extensive collaboration with other attorneys, paralegals, and office staff. Must be admitted to practice in at least one state (Georgia is a plus).
