I am looking to engage with a detail-oriented professional to focus on ensuring U.S. tax compliance for business operations. This role involves managing the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns and addressing inquiries from tax authorities. Additionally, the position includes assisting with the preparation of quarterly tax reporting for our U.S. operations.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage income tax returns, provisions, and related analyses.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external consultants on tax-related projects.
  • Conduct tax research and support responses to audits and regulatory inquiries.
  • Analyze tax positions, deferred taxes, and reporting under IFRS standards.
  • Provide technical support for accounting and corporate tax operations.
  • Contribute to team leadership and additional assigned duties.

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in ASC 740 tax provisioning.
  • Proficiency in corporate income tax (CIT) compliance and multistate consolidated filings.
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant tax experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
  • Hands-on experience with consolidated federal, state, and local income tax compliance.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax accounting and reporting standards under IFRS or US GAAP.
