  • Assist in the management of all U.S., Canadian and Puerto Rican transaction tax return compliance.
  • Manage and/or assist with all transaction tax audits.
  • Management of Canadian return filings and input tax credits.
  • Manage and control use tax accrual process.
  • Conduct reviews of the G/L, business activities and transactions to determine proper tax treatment.
  • Provide internal and external (financial) auditors with information as requested.
  • Manage and/or assist with special projects, including research and planning projects.
  • Improving the efficiency of the reporting and compliance process.
  • Research general and specific tax questions / issues and communicate the results.
  • Manage and/or assist with audit protests, appeals, litigation and settlements.
  • Assist with acquisitions, divestitures and integrations as they relate to sales and use tax.
  • Support business initiatives for expansion of sales offerings.
  • Stay current on changes in transaction tax law, regulations, court decisions.


  • BS / BA in Accounting.
  • Knowledge of some multi-state sales & use tax law.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and result oriented person.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Must be a self-starter.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail oriented with proven ability to meet multiple deadlines.
  • Strong digital skills
  • Knowledge of SAP and Vertex O Series a plus.
  • CPA/MST a plus
