Share Plan Controller
An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients in a unique role marrying HR and Finance! Our client is a dynamic, international organisation listed on the London Stock Exchange and making strides in revolutionising the digital advertising & marketing services space. As they continue to grow and expand, they are seeking a Share Plan Controller who will manage a team in handling the administration of the company’s stock option plans. This is a hybrid position to be based in their Hilversum, Netherlands office 3 days a week, with 2 days remote.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 5 share plan administrators
- Oversight of Periodic vesting events and ad-hoc exercise events
- Answer questions regarding the Equity Plans from HR, Finance, and employees
- Manage the grant process of new shares or options under existing share incentive plans
- Set up new option plans, with the legal and finance teams
- Work closely together with the external corporate lawyers, brokers, trust, and the HR teams of the operating companies
- Be the focal point for Equity software provider
- Prepare the monthly equity and option overviews for management reporting purposes
- Work together with external advisors on the applicable IFRS valuations of the share incentive plans
Requirements:
- 5-10 years’ relevant experience with share plans
- Ideally a Bachelor’s’ or Master’s’ degree or equivalent in finance or tax
- Managerial experience is beneficial
- Comfortable working with IT software
- Advanced Excel skills
- Numerically-saavy
- Likes being hands on but also a team player
- Personable, with good communication skills, adept at managing senior stakeholders
