Senior Tax Analyst
Responsibilities
The Senior Tax Analyst will directly report to the Senior Director of Tax Reporting & Compliance and have indirect reporting to both the Senior Manager of US Compliance and Reporting as well as the Director of International Tax and is responsible for preparation US federal and state tax compliance, assisting with US annual and quarterly provision for US-based multinational operations
Preparation of US federal and state tax annual compliance workpapers including underlying calculations, estimates, extensions, and other requests
Coordinate third party resources utilized in preparation of Federal and State tax workpapers as needed
Perform tax research on various topics including (but not limited to) US Federal and State income tax including US Taxation of International Operations, Non-US income tax and indirect taxes as needed
Assist with preparation of international tax information returns including Forms 1118, 5471, 8858, and 8865
Preparation of US Domestic Corporate (Consolidated) and separate Company returns for both federal and state income tax purposes
Preparation of underlying calculations for US tax provision to be included in global financial statements in accordance with USGAAP ASC 740 – Accounting for Income Taxes
Assist with special projects in support of Director of International Tax and Director of Tax Compliance and Reporting
Support Tax Technologies Manager in identifying and implementing tax compliance process improvements using technology and data management tools
Regularly communicate and build rapport with management, peers, staff, and outside consultants
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Company
Preparation of provision calculations for quarterly and annual filings
Improvement of tax provision and compliance quarterly workpapers including automation
Assist with documentation of tax positions for annual year end provision
Integration of EPM (Oracle financial consolidation system) into provision and compliance processes

Qualifications
Targeted Experience & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
At least two (“2”) years of tax preparation experience with national accounting firm or US multinational corporation
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
Intermediate experience in MS Excel and proficiency in MS Office Suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an interest in process improvement through automation and technology
Minimal travel domestically, less than 10% expected
Solid technical skills related to tax accounting and federal and state tax concepts
Fluent in oral and written English language Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proven organizational skills
