Senior Tax Analyst

Responsibilities
- Tax Preparation and Compliance: Assist with income tax provision (ASC 740), REIT testing, taxable income projections, and preparation of federal and state corporate income tax workpapers, returns, estimates, and extensions. Coordinate with external accounting firms for tax return preparation, review workpapers and returns, and manage the tax compliance calendar.
- Tax Research and Strategy: Research federal and state tax laws, compute state apportionment, determine compliance requirements for new entities, prepare tax elections, and respond to federal and state audit and notice inquiries. Attend monthly meetings to discuss business transactions with a focus on tax impact.
- Process Improvement and Support: Create and modify processes to streamline tax deliverables, assist with due diligence requests, process tax refunds and payments, and support ad hoc projects and requests.
Requirements
- 3+ years of applicable experience in Federal Income Tax
- BS or MS in Accounting, Finance, or Tax
- CPA preferred
