Responsabilities

  • Assist in the preparation of federal, state, and local income tax returns as needed including all related analysis and support
  • Prepare and reconcile tax depreciation calculations and tax roll forward of fixed assets
  • Prepare income tax provision workpapers for certain subsidiaries within the consolidated group for quarterly and annual reporting and tax forecasting
  • Assist with the preparation of analytics that are shared with external auditors, as well as other tax position modeling.
  • Prepare and reconcile tax account roll forward and cash tax payments
  • Preparation of apportionment reports for state income tax filings
  • Assist with research and analysis on changes in income tax legislative developments (federal, state)
  • Effectively utilize available technology and internal reporting tools to gather and analyze data related to a variety of tax compliance and tax accounting initiatives
  • Support aspects of U.S. income tax reporting
  • Support the management of U.S. income tax audits
  • Support implementation of tax accounting aspects of new ERP system
  • Assist with assignments and other special projects in the Tax Department as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Must have a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting or a related field of study
  • Three (3) years of experience working at a Big 4 public accounting firm ideally focusing on audits of public companies
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or CPA candidate in process
  • Must have analytical skills and problem-solving ability, with a willingness to frequently learn new technical skills and apply them in daily work
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.), required
  • Need to be adept at working in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment, with the ability to work well in a team environment and to coordinate with team members who may be in other countries
  • This role is subject to ITAR/EAR; candidates must be a US Person (this includes US Citizen, Permanent Resident or Protected Individual such as an asylee or refugee)
