Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review complex federal income tax returns for the organization, adhering to strict deadlines and accuracy standards
- Assist in tax planning and forecasting activities, contributing valuable input to enhance tax strategies and optimize the company’s tax position.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and legal, to gather necessary tax data and provide tax-related insights and support.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of federal income tax regulations and legislation, ensuring compliance with the latest tax laws and identifying potential tax savings opportunities.
- Stay informed about changes in tax regulations and assess their impact on the company, proactively recommending adjustments to tax processes and strategies as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in tax-related role with focus on federal, state, and local tax returns.
- CPA Preferred
