  • Collaborate with Company accounting and financial reporting personnel to obtain a working knowledge of the business, from both accounting and operating perspectives.
  • Analyze data to calculate taxable income for quarterly tax provision and income tax compliance (including Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, FTC, etc.).
  • Manage E&P calculations for foreign subsidiaries and maintenance of U.S tax attributes.
  • Assist with Pillar 2 and Transfer Pricing analysis and obligations.
  • Prepare tax basis balance sheet.
  • Perform tax research.
  • Document and provide recommendations regarding proper tax compliance reporting treatment of transactions.
  • Assist with gathering data to address IRS and external auditor inquiries.
  • Identify and implement ways to improve and streamline processes.
  • Participate in special projects.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Accounting preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years income tax related and/or public accounting experience preferred.
  • Understanding of U.S. tax laws with focus on international concepts.
  • Understanding of financial statement mechanics.
  • Experience with U.S. Federal tax provisions and compliance.
  • Analytic thinker with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible to overtime.
  • Strong computer skills (CorpTax, SAP, Microsoft 365 apps).

Desired Qualifications:

  • CPA
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
  • Effective time management to handle several projects simultaneously.
  • Prior energy income tax experience.
  • Master of Taxation or equivalent degree.
