Senior Tax Accountant

Responsibilities
Tax Provision and Reporting:
- Ensure accurate preparation of quarterly and year-end ASC 740 provisions in compliance with GAAP and tax regulations.
- Prepare comprehensive tax provisions, encompassing reconciliations of tax accounts, assessment of deferred tax assets and liabilities, and valuation allowances.
- Collaborate with various teams, including finance, legal, and external auditors, to ensure timely and precise completion of the tax provision process.
Financial Analysis and Risk Management:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial statements and tax returns to proactively identify potential tax risks and opportunities for optimization.
Tax Law Compliance and Knowledge Management:
- Stay abreast of evolving tax laws and regulations to maintain compliance.
- Effectively communicate the implications of tax law changes to pertinent stakeholders within the organization.
Tax Compliance Support:
- Provide assistance as necessary in tax compliance activities, such as the preparation and review of tax returns, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Offer guidance and mentorship to junior team members to foster their professional growth and enhance overall team effectiveness.
