Senior Indirect Tax Manager

Hybrid working with 2-3 days in the London office

A major international online retailer is looking for a Senior Indirect Tax Manager to lead global VAT compliance and reporting processes. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of indirect tax operations while driving process improvements and automation across a dynamic, fast-paced business.

What You’ll Be Doing:

· Overseeing all aspects of global indirect tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filings and payments.

· Managing and mentoring a small team, fostering professional development and operational excellence.

· Partnering with internal finance, tech, and tax advisory teams to implement and improve systems and controls.

· Supporting audit processes and liaising with tax authorities as needed.

· Contributing to strategic tax initiatives, including automation projects and risk mitigation.

What We’re Looking For:

· A qualified tax/accounting professional (e.g., ATT, ACA, ACCA) with 8+ years’ experience.

· Strong background in UK and international VAT compliance.

· Proven leadership and team management experience.

· Confident handling tax authority interactions and audits.

· Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
