Senior Financial Accountant
A global renewable energy company is looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their London based Finance team.
You will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting across the UK entities. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-growing sector while supporting stakeholders and external regulatory compliance.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Oversee financial statements preparation in line with international and local accounting standards
- Maintain robust internal controls and support audit processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reporting efficiency and financial transparency
- Manage general ledger activities and ensure compliance with tax and regulatory obligations
- Contribute to ongoing process improvements and support strategic finance initiatives
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Experience in an audit practice
- Strong experience in financial reporting, ideally within a multinational business
- Solid understanding of IFRS and UK accounting standards
- Proficiency with ERP systems and financial consolidation tools
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders
- A proactive mindset and a passion for sustainability and innovation
