Senior Accountant, SEC Reporting

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare SEC filings, financial statement disclosures, and XBRL tagging, ensuring GAAP, SEC, and SOX compliance.
• Support audits, research technical accounting issues, and collaborate across FP&A, tax, and treasury teams.
• Manage journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany eliminations, and ensure compliance with ASC 606.
• Assist in consolidated financial statements, variance analysis, and process improvements.
• Partner on automation and process improvement opportunities to enhance financial reporting procedure

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Accounting; CPA or CPA (a plus)
• 3-6 years of relevant experience, including 1-2 years at a senior level
• Public accounting and/or public company experience (insurance and/or technology industry a plus)
• Strong GAAP, SEC, and SOX knowledge with advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with Great Plains Dynamics and Management Reporter, a plus
