WHAT YOU’LL DO DAY-TO-DAY:

Your responsibilities will include developing a financing strategy for each new investment vehicle and mandate. You will source, structure, and execute financing solutions for the securitized products, asset-backed securities, and direct/structured lending investments of the funds. Proactively analyzing financing market trends and identifying unique opportunities to access leverage capacity are core aspects of the role, and you will be required to build and manage relationships across investment banks and other financial institutions. In addition to working with investment teams, you will work closely with our Legal, Compliance, and Tax functions on negotiating commercial terms for financing arrangements you procure.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Candidates will have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience at a buy-side firm or investment bank.
  • Applicants should be familiar with financing arrangements, covenants, and fee structures for private credit funds. This includes experience with repurchase agreements, margin loans, recourse and non-recourse credit lines and facilities, total return swaps, repackaging, and synthetic securitizations.
  • Applicants should have experience with developing and maintaining financial models and forecasts.
  • Keen attention to detail, well-developed written and verbal communication skills, and a demonstrated interest in financial markets are all essential attributes for this role.
