A unique opportunity has arisen for a senior private client practitioner to come in and lead the private client practice in Scotland. This role can be based in Edinburgh or Glasgow or possibly Aberdeen. With 20 private client tax professionals across the region – this is an outstanding opportunity to take a leading role in a national practice.

Within Scotland and Northern Ireland, the majority of businesses are privately owned, owner-managed companies, or partnerships. As such, there is a large volume of owner-managers who require private client tax advice in connection with succession and wealth management tax planning and advice. Some of this potential market are already existing clients, for example legal firm partnerships, owners of private businesses and private equity fund managers. With an appropriate investment at executive level, there will be further opportunities within their existing client base as well as the ability to take advantage of the market opportunity, ensuring they win and deliver premium service, high-quality, value-adding tax advice.

With a strong start to FY23, driven by a number transaction related advisory projects, the strategy will be to pursue more of these types of projects, making them more of the norm, rather than the exception within the team’s workflow.

The firm will welcome candidates either working in the loacl market or those considering relocation.
