Private Client Senior Manager

One of our pre-eminent clients is looking for a private client tax specialist to work in a purely advisory capacity within a financial services private client team.

This is a new to market role for a Senior Manager or strong Manager candidate who is CTA qualified and ideally trained and qualified within an accounting practice in private client tax.

This specialist private client team sits within the Asset Management team in Financial Services and is a key strategic growth priority for the global firm. They provide advisory services to private banks and wealth managers on a full range of issues including income tax and CGT, IHT and the tax position of investors.

The individual who joins the team will play a significant part in achieving the team’s ambitious growth plans and responsibilities will include, amongst other things; projects management, risk management, putting together proposals and client handling.

The key requirements of the role are:

• CTA qualified with significant client advisory experience in financial services.
• An understanding of the UK tax treatment of investment instruments and personal tax compliance experience with investments
• Data handling skills and the ability to work on complex excel files
