This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional to join at Associate Director level and play a key role in advising private equity-backed businesses throughout the investment lifecycle-from acquisition to exit.

The Role

As an Associate Director in the Private Equity tax team, you will:

• Lead on a range of tax advisory and compliance projects for PE-backed clients.
• Manage and mentor a team of high-performing tax professionals.
• Build strong client relationships, providing clear and confident advice.
• Deliver high-quality tax solutions, including exit readiness and structuring.
• Support business development efforts through proposals, pitches, and market engagement.
• Collaborate with other service lines to offer integrated solutions.

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

• CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
• Post-qualification experience in a tax advisory role.
• Proven track record managing a portfolio of PE-backed businesses.

Desirable:

• Experience in M&A tax (DD and/or structuring).
• Background in professional services.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.
• Business development experience.
