Managing the day to day operations of a London based investment firm.

  • Establish and maintain credit lines to ensure the organization has sufficient liquidity for its operations. This involves negotiating terms with financial institutions and regularly reviewing credit limits.
  • Process payments accurately and on time, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly. Reconcile accounts to verify that all payments are accounted for and resolve any discrepancies.

  • Manage custody accounts to safeguard assets, ensuring they are held securely and in compliance with regulatory requirements. This includes regular audits and reporting.

  • Liase with banks to facilitate various financial services such as loans, deposits, and foreign exchange transactions. Resolve any issues that arise promptly to maintain smooth operations.

  • Identify areas where financial systems and processes can be improved. Implement new technologies or procedures to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and security.

  • Focus on senior structured lending facilities backed by pools of underlying loans. This involves assessing credit risk, structuring deals, and managing the portfolio.

  • Implement a new portfolio management system for the credit business. This project covers various financial processes and requires coordination with multiple stakeholders.

  • Manage the launch of new funds, including setting up accounts and coordinating investor capital calls. Ensure all regulatory and operational requirements are met.

  • Assist with FX hedge rolls, adjustments, preparing daily cash summaries, and forecasting cash flow to ensure the organization has adequate liquidity.

  • Calculate, monitor, and report on the borrowing base to ensure compliance with leverage facility agreements and optimize borrowing capacity.
