Our client is a well known West End law firm looking for a tax accountant to support the Partners and Senior Associates on tax investigtions and disputes.

You need not have previosuly worked in a law firm but to apply you must be CTA qualifeid with at least five years of PQE in coprorate and / or private client tax compliance and have had exposure to some tax investigations and discputes work.

Much of the work will have a corporate nature, so the ideal candidate will come from a corporate background. The work of the group involves advising clients and the work will include, but not be limited to:

International tax

HMRC enquiries and tax investigations

Large tax disputes

Offshore tax matters

Corporate tax structuring and restructuring

Preparing analysis of tax planning and business structures to identify opportunities

Tax adisory roles for accontants in law firms are rare and this role represents an opportunity to work on some technically challenging, high porfile clients alongside very well respected and redognised Partners within the industry.
