Located in Westport Connecticut, this firm is seeking a candidate who is a motivated self-starter, with a background in financial services and a demonstrated track record of sound commercial decision-making and strong technical proficiency across data management, operational risk management and reporting. This position represents an opportunity to join a young, growing company, as part of a small team in building and shaping the company.

Roles Duties & Responsibilities:

* Drive deal processes, and associated due diligence activities, for potential Fund investments, and present results to senior management and investors;

* Manage, monitor and review in-force investments of the Funds;

* Source and analyze data from multiple sources to generate structuring, risk assessment, and new product/investment opportunities across the Funds;

* Build relationships with core service providers, including Third Party Administrators (TPA’s), to manage underlying fund operations;

* Create and maintain internal dashboards that measure both fund performance and performance of TPA’s;

* Assist in investment reporting and risk management broadly across the Funds;

* Create and present executive level reporting;

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

* BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field;

* 5+ years of experience in financial services environment;

* Detail oriented with exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills;

* Self-starter with ability to work independently in an autonomous environment;

* Ability to clearly assimilate and articulate complex matters, both verbally and in writing;

* Ability to manage time efficiently while juggling multiple objectives;

* Aptitude to learn the company’s investment management and due diligence process;

* Comfortable with investor reporting and financial calculations;

* Strong written communication skills for both internal and external communication;

* Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Microsoft Excel;

* Understanding of VBA & SQL is an advantage.
