Title: Intenational Tax Manager
Report into Senior International Tax Manager
My client is a Magic Circle law firm, currently hiring an International Tax Manager to join their in-house tax team and support the Senior International Tax Manager. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office.
The role involves supporting the firm’s global tax compliance, including managing advisors and local teams to ensure timely tax filings, calculating tax reserves, tax equalisation, and reconciling tax accounts. Additional responsibilities include managing withholding tax exposures, providing tax advice on mobility and cross-border working arrangements, and handling ad hoc tax advisory projects. You will also be responsible for reviewing tax processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulatory changes, as well as managing junior team members.
Key Requirements:
- ACA and/or CTA qualification with managerial-level experience in a large corporate or MNC setting.
- Strong working knowledge of international tax issues.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax matters to non-specialists.
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and work collaboratively with global teams.
