International Tax Manager – FTSE 100 (remote)

I am working with a FTSE 100 business who are sourcing for an International Tax Manager to join their team. The team are predominantly remote, with a M4 corridor based office for meetings.

You will report into the Tax Director, and lead on International Tax & Transfer Pricing for the Group.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the provision of international tax advice to the Group
• Lead transfer pricing across the Group, setting the strategy for optimising intra-group transactions and ensuring compliance with global documentation requirements, including managing the outsourced preparation.
• Act as the lead tax business partner for overseas activities within the remit of the role, providing tax advice, engaging external advisers and managing the global compliance outsource provider.
• Ensure a robust control framework is established and maintained for all direct taxes outside of the UK, maintaining governance and risk documentation for direct taxes for the operating units.
• Assist Tax Directors and Tax Managers in delivering training or other support to ensure the group remains compliant with all direct tax obligations outside of the UK.

Requirements:

• Tax/accounting qualification and from either a practice or in-house background.
• Experience and general technical knowledge of international tax, transfer pricing
• Experience of dealing with European jurisdictions.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
