Your Role

As an International Tax Director, you’ll join our friendly, driven, and diverse Tax team. They collaborate across multiple specialist areas of tax to deliver comprehensive business solutions. You’ll tackle fresh challenges daily, whether it’s advising on Corporation Tax, managing changes to legislation, or implementing intelligent technology solutions.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide Expert Tax Advisory Services: Deliver corporate tax advisory and compliance services to a variety of clients, involving tax due diligence, structuring, international advisory work, and more.
  • Lead and Collaborate: Manage the successful delivery of technically excellent advice, liaising with specialists in other tax teams and overseas offices.
  • Manage Tax Audits: Undertake tax audits for clients under UK GAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP (optional).
  • Develop Proposals: Prepare proposals for new work, researching target client companies and identifying innovative solutions.
  • Sell New Services: Actively seek opportunities for expanding services to existing clients.
  • Manage Staff: Oversee and develop your team, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional growth.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Proven experience in providing corporate tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse client base.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to deliver commercially viable and technically excellent advice, involving various tax specialisms.
  • Audit Expertise: Capability to undertake tax audits (optional).
  • Proposal Development: Skilled in preparing detailed proposals and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Leadership: Experience managing staff and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Qualifications: Educated to degree level, CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
