I am pleased to collaborate with a leading international tech company in locating an Interim Senior Manager for Financial Planning & Analysis in the Amsterdam Area.

As the Interim Senior FP&A Manager, you’ll oversee the Central Tech team’s financial planning and control activities, integrating innovative business strategies into robust financial plans, providing guidance on financial performance, and optimizing costs and capabilities. The role will evolve, providing opportunities for further development and challenge.

This role is for a proactive individual with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. It’s based in Amsterdam and reports to the Director of Business Control within FP&A.

As a strategic business partner to the CTO and senior leadership, offering proactive advice on financial and operational opportunities, your role involves:
– Understanding Central Tech business drivers and facilitating communication between the business and Corporate & Group FP&A
– Developing short and long-term financial models for spending and capital expenditures while proactively managing risks and opportunities
– Leading the team in creating comprehensive financial plans for Central Tech, driving the execution of business planning processes
– Mentoring, coaching, and motivating team members to achieve goals and objectives
– Overseeing month-end close processes to ensure accurate reporting of business results and provide insightful commentary
– Collaborating with FP&A peers to develop company-wide financial models and detailed forecasts for annual and 3-year plans

– 10+ years of business control experience with advanced knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets
– 5+ years of team management experience required
– Strong financial modelling and analytical skills
– Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
– Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities, work in cross-functional teams, and drive projects to completion
– Experience with SAP
– Fluent in English
