Interim Head of Audit (6 months assignment)
An interesting opportunity has arisen with our client, a Dutch company in the electricity and gas sector with almost EUR 3 billion in turnover! They are in a growth phase and now looking to bring on board an Interim Head of Audit for a period of about 6 months.
Responsibilities:
· Manage and lead the Internal Audit team of 10
· Be proactive in shaping the long-term vision and developing the Internal Audit function
· Implement policies and procedures to improve the performance of the Internal Audit function
· Strengthen collaboration with the other departments
· Be the primary point of contact for external auditors
· Be a part of the Audit Committee
Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years of Internal Audit experience for a corporate
· Past team management experience
· Good, motivational team leader
· Strategic mindset, analytical thinking
· Ability to communicate with and manage complex discussions with senior management
· Fluency in Dutch is preferred
