Interim FP&A Manager
The Interim FP&A manager role calls for a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial planning and analysis, possessing excellent analytical skills and a deep understanding of financial modelling. This role requires leading the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual Management Information (MI) reports and taking the lead in all reporting matters during the interim period.
About the role:
- Lead and oversee the production of monthly, quarterly, and annual MI reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial reports to senior management.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop financial models and forecasts to predict future performance.
- Analyse financial performance against forecasts and budgets, identifying key variances.
- Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure realistic and achievable budgets.
- Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions
- Maintain central data warehouse for MI and Stat purposes
- Support the implementation of a new finance reporting tool
Qualifications and Experience:
- CIMA, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification is required.
- Proven experience as an FP&A Manager or in a similar financial leadership role, preferably within the insurance sector.
- Experience in preparing and presenting reports to executive-level stakeholders.
Skills:
- Advanced Excel experience
- Strong data management skills, with a focus on ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting cycles.
