An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this leading organisation whose impact is well-known within its field of expertise. It is responsible for some of the most iconic buildings in London and has links with several reputable companies. The business has ambitious plans to grow and as part of this expects to increase its employee headcount significantlly over the coming years. It has an assignee population which predominantly consists of UK employees working overseas under tax equalised arrangements however it also employs individuals on other arrangements including local plus, assignments from non-UK entities to non-UK host locations and also local nationals in its host locations.

Working within the tax function, your role will be to support the business to ensure it and its assignees are compliant; assignments are full costed and optimised from a tax and social security perspective; as well as working with HR and payroll to ensure there is a holistic approach to every project and assignment.

To succeed, you will need extensive experience in all areas of expatriate tax including tax equalisation and residency. In addition, knowledge of how payroll works for expatriates including Appendix 5 and 7B arrangements would be beneficial. This is initially an interim role so would suit someone who is immediately available or available at short notice. With offices based in London, there is the possibility to attend in person or work remotely. Other members attend the office between 1 day a week and 1 day a month so if you like to work predominately remotely, this could be the ideal role for you.
