Indirect Tax Sr Mgr (Contractor)
Role and responsibilities
- Lead/support US indirect tax automation initiatives
- Support OneSource implementation
- Develop taxability matrix and standard technical tax advice for retail and wholesale business units
- Co-develop, maintain, implement and improve policies and guidelines to manage Indirect Tax risks and compliance
- Documentation of current and future processes
- Providing business support by answering ad hoc Indirect Tax questions
What you need to succeed
- University or College degree in Finance/Accounting related discipline preferred
4+ years of relevant experience in US sales & use - US sales & use Indirect technical tax expertise
- Experience with automation of processes preferred
- Experience with OneSource tax engine preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Big 4 accounting firm experience an asset
- Outstanding accounting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- A team player who is very organized, flexible and resilient.
- Familiarity with Oracle, SAP, Peoplesoft, Sovos/Taxware or EB tax etc. will be an asset
