Indirect Tax Senior Manager – 12 months

Indirect Tax Senior Manager interim tax job in London requires an indirect tax specialist or VAT Senior Manager, for this interim tax job in London.

Covering a 12 months maternity leave, in this role you will be joining an established tax function, who work 3 days per week in their City of London office, and 2 days per week from home. The Tax Director is open to someone working in this role 4 days or 5 days per week (salary pro-rata accordingly).

Key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee the preparation, review and sign off VAT returns prepared by other members of the team.
• Provide VAT advice on business queries.
• Look out for improvements in the VAT compliance process.
• Focus is on the UK VAT and for other related countries such as Ireland, New Zealand and Australia.

To be considered for this role you will have a UK or European VAT compliance experience and will have worked at a level which involved the review of returns and the supervision of other members of the VAT team.
