Indirect Tax Assistant Manager
We are pleased to be partnering with a global leader within Insurance, as they recruit an Indirect Tax Assistant Manager to join their close-knit team. This position will require 3 days a week in the city centre of Glasgow.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with VAT compliance.
- Reviewing VAT returns.
- Partnering with various stakeholders across the business.
- Provide accurate advice regarding any indirect tax queries.
- Collaborating with senior members of the team on adhoc projects.
Requirements:
- Newly qualified (tax or accounting) or part-qualified CTA. Candidates without a tax qualification will be considered if they are keen to pursue one in the future.
- Strong background within VAT or accounting.
- An insurance background would be advantageous but not essential.
- Advanced excel skills required.
- Comfortable working to deadlines and multitasking.
- Excellent communication skills.
