Indirect Tax Accountant

Our client, a leading financial services company, is seeking an Indirect Tax Accountant to oversee VAT and IPT processes. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders across Finance, Tax, and external bodies like HMRC, with a focus on compliance, process improvement, and advisory support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review VAT/IPT returns, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
• Reconcile tax accounts and maintain compliance with UK and international tax regulations.
• Support offshore teams and ensure Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance.
• Provide training and advisory support on indirect tax matters.

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: CTA, ACA, or equivalent.
• Experience: Indirect tax expertise, ideally within financial services.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, technical tax knowledge, and ability to collaborate effectively.
