In house International Corporate Tax Manager
Our client s a forward-thinking organisation with a global presence, boasting more than 70 offices across 40 countries and they pride themselves on combining in-depth local market knowledge with a broad global perspective.
They are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Corporate Tax Manager to join their Finance Team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the tax affairs both in the UK and across the international activities. Reporting to the Senior Corporate Tax Manager, this position will have a global focus, involving various international tax compliance and transfer pricing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Handle country-specific corporate tax compliance and assist regional offices with entity tax filings.
- Manage the group’s transfer pricing compliance.
- Offer ad-hoc tax advice to regional finance teams on structuring and commercially-led projects.
- Oversee UK corporation tax compliance, statutory reporting, and tax provisions.
- Provide guidance on local tax exposures arising from withholding taxes.
- Maintain positive relationships with tax authorities in the UK and overseas.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Fully qualified in tax or accountancy (ACA/CTA/ACCA or equivalent) with a minimum of 2-3 years PQE.
- In-house experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Exposure to VAT would be advantageous.
- Experience in tax accounting/tax audit is required.
- Strong numeric skills and ability to read and interpret existing and new tax statutes.
- Excellent communication skills to influence thinking on tax planning and compliance.
