I’m delighted to be supporting a fast‑growing organisation to hire a newly created in‑house role within their tax function. With strong backing from senior stakeholders, this is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a specialist area and make a real impact.

In this broad role, you’ll be responsible for:

🔹 Employment tax compliance (P11Ds, PSA, P46s)

🔹 IR35 governance and ongoing compliance

🔹 Reviewing and analysing employee expenses

🔹 Managing relationships with internal stakeholders and HMRC

🔹 Identifying, reviewing, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency

There is also scope to get involved in wider areas of tax – ideal for someone with ambitions to progress into a future Head of Tax position.

It would suit a Manager or Senior Manager with strong employment and payroll tax expertise, gained either in practice or in-house.

📍 Hybrid – ideally, 3 days a week in Hertfordshire

Easily commutable from London (short walk from the station) or by car (ample parking). For the right individual, 2 days in Hertfordshire + 1 day in London will be considered.

This is a rare opportunity to step into a role with real ownership, variety, and scope to make an impact.
