An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this FTSE 250 company that is well-known in its field of expertise. Reporting to the Employment Tax Director, you will be required to support on the implementation of key employment tax projects and initiatives; improve processes to streamline and reduce risk; run projects to deliver on the overall objectives of the tax team; help maintain relationships with HMRC and other tax authorities; as well as understand employment tax changes and their implications for the business. You will be involved in Group wide work so as well as there is a strong international angle to this role. This is a high profile position which will require a strategic thinker to identify critical tax issues and evaluate their potential impact on the business. The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders will also be paramount to your success. The right individual will have a strong background in employment tax as well as an awareness of expatriate tax and reward issues. It would suit an individual who is either working within a Big 4 firm or who has already moved in-house and is looking for a new challenge. The tax team has a strong profile within the company and has consequently been invested in to support it further. A genuinely varied role, working as part of a supportive team, where you can make a positive impact – this is newly-created position that is rare to find.
