In-house Employment Tax Manager

Sitting within the Finance team, you will report to the Tax Operations Lead. The role will be broad in scope including the review of processes to ensure robust controls are in place, advising on the tax implications of new benefits, acting as the point of contact for HMRC regarding employment tax matters, as well as advising on ad hoc queries in relation to remote worker or IR35 issues. You will also be expected to build close working relationships with the people, reward and payroll teams.
To succeed, you will need significant employment tax experience gained either in the profession or in-house. The ability to work independently and drive change will also be critical to this role. With offices based in London and Bristol, you will be expected to attend these once a month for a team day, however outside of this, you will be given the autonomy to work remotely or in the office.
