In-house Employment Tax Manager

As a key member of the tax team, you will report directly to the Senior Tax Manager, working with them to manage the compliance and advisory work in relation to employment tax and the Group’s assignee population. Your role will include managing the annual delivery of the UK employment tax compliance cycle (PSA, STBV returns etc), tax payments in relation to expatriates as well as off payroll worker status assessments. You will be expected to partner with the business, manage employment tax related risks, identify opportunities for tax technology transformation and provide ad hoc advice proactively.
To succeed in the role, you will be CTA/ACA qualified or equivalent and have a solid grounding in employment tax and/or expatriate tax. Prior experience of all tax accountability areas is not required as support and training will be provided however you must be comfortable handling and manipulating large volumes of data and possess a commercial mindset. In return, you will be afforded the opportunity to utilise your existing knowledge and develop new skills to broaden your horizons. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make their first move in-house or someone who is already working in-house who is looking for a new challenge. You will be afforded the opportunity to work autonomously yet benefit from the support of the existing Senior Tax Manager who is very experienced in their chosen field. The role is located in Warwick with the expectation of spending 2 days a week in the office.
