This east London office boasts a friendly and welcoming environment with an agile workforce. As an Assistant Tax Manager, you will work within the Partnership Tax Team and support the Senior Manager in dealing with the overseas tax risks and the necessary international corporate filings of the firm's staff. Due to the nature of your role, you will have a steady flow of work instead of peaks and troughs. The Partnership Tax Team is also preparing itself for the upcoming Brexit changes and issues that will arise from it, so this will become a key element of your role in the future. You will also have the responsibility of coaching junior members of the team.

To be considered for this role, you will ideally be CTA/ACA qualified, or equivalent, with prior corporate tax experience. This position predominately deals with UK and international tax affairs but you do not need previous experience in indirect tax as sufficient support and training will be provided. As an individual, you should be able to communicate effectively, be a team player, and be highly numerate for the necessary tax computations.

Accepting this role, you will receive a competitive salary with additional benefits. Typical work hours are from 9:30 - 17:30 and you will be able to work flexibly. You will have the possibility of traveling to the international territories that you work with such as the US. Progression is a key aspect and you will be able to take secondments to the other areas of the business.
